Ali Ghapoo
(Isfahan) |
In the 16th century the Ali Ghapoo Palace, measuring almost 70 meters, was dedicated to be the government building under Shah Abbas I. At those times as well as today there is an outstanding view from the throne chamber across Emam Square. Only little has remained of the former wall paintings; famous is the music chamber on the fifth floor for its complex stucco motives and the outstanding acoustics. | ![]() |
